Sondra Lee, 97, Broadway Star, Dies
Sondra Lee, a veteran stage performer, has passed away at the age of 97. The news was shared by her longtime friend, the Rev Joshua Ellis. She gained early recognition as Tiger Lily in the 1955 television adaptation of Peter Pan and later introduced the role of Minnie Fay in the original 1964 Broadway production of Hello, Dolly!. Lee also worked closely with acclaimed choreographer Jerome Robbins on Peter Pan, a broadcast watched by millions across the US.
