Hosepipe ban for Hampshire, Isle of Wight from 10 July
Around a million Southern Water customers are facing a hosepipe ban for the second consecutive year across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. The River Test, the primary water source for the region, is at a "critically low level" following a record warm spring, according to the company. The restrictions start on 10 July and will likely last until autumn without major rainfall.
