Labour poll shows Burnham beating Starmer for leader

Labour Party members show a clear preference for Andy Burnham as leader over Sir Keir Starmer. A YouGov survey of over 700 members last week found Burnham would decisively win a head-to-head contest. He gained 59 per cent of the vote to Starmer’s 37 per cent, and beat Wes Streeting 80 per cent to 10 per cent.
