Double Murder Investigation Launched After Four-Year-Old Boy and Great-Aunt Die in Suspected Petrol Bomb Attack

Gardaí have started a double murder probe after a fatal incident in Edenderry, Co Offaly. On Saturday at approximately 7:45pm, a petrol bomb was reportedly thrown at a residence in Castleview Park. Tadhg Farrell, aged four, and Mary Holt, aged 60, died. A woman in her 50s is critically injured and receiving hospital treatment. Police are requesting witnesses and dashcam recordings from 7pm to 8pm.
