HP to Cut About 6,000 Jobs by 2028 as AI Drive Accelerates
HP Inc. expects to cut between 4,000 and 6,000 jobs globally by fiscal 2028 as part of a plan to streamline operations and expand its artificial-intelligence initiatives. The Palo Alto-based company says the initiative should generate approximately US $1 billion in gross run-rate savings over three years. HP also disclosed that adjusted fiscal 2026 earnings per share are forecast at US $2.90 to US $3.20, below analyst estimates of approximately US $3.30
