Trump tells Starmer: US does not need UK carriers
President Trump posted on Truth Social on Saturday that the United States does not need the two aircraft carriers the UK was preparing to send to the Middle East. He wrote that the US would remember Britain's slow support, saying the UK was joining wars after they had already been won. The post came after the UK Ministry of Defence confirmed HMS Prince of Wales was being put on high readiness for a possible deployment.
