King's College team gets Google quantum chip

Understanding natural processes like plant energy conversion could improve solar cells and lead to new disease drugs. King's College London scientists are the first UK academic team to gain access to Google's Willow quantum computer chip. This chip can solve a theoretical problem in five minutes, a task taking current supercomputers 10 septillion years.
