Emergency exit blunder stops Hamburg Airport flights
Hamburg Airport stopped all departures on Friday morning after a passenger accidentally opened an emergency exit door, causing widespread disruption. Federal Police evacuated the entire secure area as a precaution, meaning all passengers had to go through security screening again. Operations have now resumed, but airport spokeswoman Katja Bromm confirmed significant delays and cancellations are expected throughout the day.
