Verstappen wins fourth F1 title. Russell wins race
Max Verstappen secured his fourth consecutive Formula 1 World Championship with a fifth-place finish at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, finishing ahead of title rival Lando Norris who came sixth. George Russell delivered a commanding victory for Mercedes, leading teammate Lewis Hamilton in a one-two finish. The championship was sealed with two races remaining after Verstappen only needed to finish ahead of Norris to mathematically secure the crown, joining an elite group of four-time champions.
