UK firm Wayve confident self-driving cars handle potholes
British self-driving startup Wayve predicts its technology will allow autonomous vehicles to drive anywhere, including on UK roads with potholes. Wayve's co-founder and chief executive, Alex Kendall, stated their AI can navigate such hazards by learning from the environment from sensor data. The firm, founded in 2017, is preparing to launch robotaxis in London later this year in partnership with Uber.
