Man dies outside Glasgow drug centre on Sunday morning
Police attended Hunter Street after receiving reports of a fatality at approximately 10:20 on Sunday. Officials confirmed the incident occurred at the entrance to The Thistle, a pilot scheme allowing supervised substance use. Although officers are preparing a file for the procurator fiscal, they currently believe the circumstances are not suspicious. The site launched in January 2025 as the nation's inaugural safe consumption space.
