Monaco F1: Safety fears force 20km/h speed cut
Drivers won’t use the drag-cutting wing setting at Monaco, limiting extra speed on the street circuit. Formula 1’s governing body decided there would be no straight mode zones during the Grand Prix weekend after reviewing braking, traction and safety concerns. Officials said each section must last longer than three seconds, while the system can raise top speeds by up to 20km/h.
