Iranian Drones Hit Gulf Data Centres, Impact Millions
After datacentre attacks, millions of residents throughout the United Arab Emirates experienced interruptions to essential services. Iran's military is believed to have deliberately targeted commercial datacentres in the Persian Gulf for the first time, using Shahed 136 drones on Sunday morning. A single impact sparked a ruinous inferno at a site managed by Amazon Web Services, located within the UAE.
