US forces strike vessel in Caribbean Sea, killing three

The US military has carried out another deadly attack on a vessel in the Caribbean Sea, killing three people, as part of a wider campaign of strikes on boats the Pentagon says are linked to drug trafficking. According to the Southern Command, the strike occurred along known smuggling routes, though authorities have provided limited evidence of criminal activity. This latest incident adds to at least 133 fatalities in similar operations since September 2025, prompting legal and human-rights concerns.
