UK faces 'most dangerous period' since Cold War

The UK is facing its most dangerous time since the Cold War, with risks and threats now greater than ever for ordinary people. Chief of the Defence Staff Sir Richard Knighton told BBC Radio 4's Today programme that he hasn't known a more dangerous period. He highlighted that Russian strategic aircraft incursions into UK airspace this year match all of 2025.
