Queen wanted Andrew for trade job
Newly released documents show no formal vetting or due diligence happened for a royal's trade role. Queen Elizabeth strongly desired Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor to have a key national interests position, a February 2000 memo stated. The British Government released these old papers about his 2001 appointment following an opposition party request.
