Austin bar shooting kills 2, wounds 14; gunman shot dead
A gunman opened fire from his SUV outside Buford's Bar on West 6th Street in Austin, Texas, in the early hours of Sunday 1 March 2026, killing two people and injuring 14 others. Police confronted the suspect nearby and shot him dead, making him the third fatality. Three of the 14 injured were left in a critical condition.
