EU Parliament swaps Google for French search engine

The European Parliament is switching its main search engine from Google to a French one, hoping to better protect people's data. Starting Thursday, June 4, Qwant is designated to become the standard on its computers, promoting increased digital autonomy. Qwant, started in 2013, focuses on privacy and doesn't track users or gather personal information.
