Two Britons self-isolate after cruise ship hantavirus exposure

Two British people are self-isolating at home after potential exposure to hantavirus on a cruise ship, the UK Health Security Agency said on Wednesday evening. The MV Hondius outbreak has now killed three people and infected at least eight, including one Briton in intensive care in Johannesburg. UKHSA says the risk to the wider UK population remains very low because the virus does not spread through everyday social contact.
