China’s DeepSeek is in talks with state-backed investors as it seeks funding, with discussions placing its value near $50 billion after earlier estimates of $10 billion to $30 billion. The National Artificial Intelligence Industry Investment Fund, holding about $8.8 billion, is among those in advanced negotiations.
