Youth minimum wage increase divides UK government
The UK government is divided on increasing the lowest pay rate for younger employees, as youth unemployment continues its upward trend. Business Secretary Peter Kyle thinks it's not the right time, but a Treasury minister says there's little evidence past rises hurt jobs. A recent report found over a million young people are not working or studying, costing Britain £125 billion yearly.
