Ten people fined £135 after six tourists died
Zak White has condemned the light penalties issued to ten individuals connected to the methanol poisoning of his sister, Simone, and five others. British officials confirmed these suspects received suspended jail terms and fines of only £135 for destroying evidence at the Nana Backpacker Hostel. Although authorities claimed the venue would remain closed, the business has seemingly reopened online under a new name while a supplier awaits trial.
