UK can keep animal export ban in EU deal
The UK will be able to maintain its current ban on live animal exports, a key part of a new agricultural deal. European officials are offering this concession to the UK, even though the EU itself has not imposed such a ban. This agreement follows a framework from last May allowing UK exemptions for stricter rules, providing a victory for Keir Starmer.
