Nearly 7,000 US Troops Deploy to Middle East

Options for US military action are growing as the United States reinforces its presence in the Middle East. Around 7,000 more American troops have been sent to the area since the conflict started on February 28. These reinforcements comprise 2,000 soldiers from the 82nd Airborne Division and two Marine Expeditionary Units.
