RAF Jets Destroy Drones in Middle East Fighting
Increased conflict in the Middle East led to British military action, aiming to secure regional allies from aerial threats. Overnight, RAF fighter jets intercepted a drone targeting Bahrain and destroyed an uncrewed aerial system to defend Jordan. Defence secretary John Healey also noted fragments of a drone struck the UK's Akrotiri base in Cyprus, with examination underway for foreign military equipment.
