Police offered Manchester cafe owner deal to spy
A Manchester cafe owner has come forward claiming police proposed a deal involving financial compensation and overlooking petty offenses if he served as an informant for Palestine Action. Shams Sadiq, proprietor of two cafes, states that law enforcement officers presented this offer to him on May 15th at the Ashton-under-Lyne police facility. Police reportedly assured him they would disregard certain low-level offenses in return for his cooperation, he claims.
