Murderer's 21-year jail term could get longer
The Solicitor General is appealing the 21-year minimum jail term given to Vickrum Digwa for murdering 18-year-old Henry Nowak. Ellie Reeves, the Solicitor General, referred the sentence to the Court of Appeal on Monday under the "unduly lenient sentence" scheme. Police initially handcuffed Nowak after Digwa falsely claimed he was the victim of a racist attack.
