MotoGP and Five Makers Sign New Deal

MotoGP and Five Makers Sign New Deal

Fans could see a stronger long-term plan for the motorbike series as organisers and manufacturers set rules covering sport, technology and business matters through 2031. MotoGP reached the agreement on 19 June with Aprilia, Ducati, Honda, KTM and Yamaha after Liberty Media took control of the championship owner. Another arrangement involving 11 teams will be revealed later, while Liberty bought an 84 per cent stake for about £4bn.
