Bumblebees are super clever, just like chimps

Bumblebees are way smarter than we thought, showing they can spontaneously solve problems just like bigger-brained animals. Researchers in Finland watched bumblebees roll tiny Styrofoam balls into position to reach a sweet treat overhead. Almost three-quarters of the bees used the ball like a stepstool in this new study published in Science.
