12 tonnes of KitKat bars stolen in Europe
Consumers could encounter stolen KitKat bars through unofficial sales channels across European markets. Swiss food giant Nestle reported that a shipment of approximately 12 tonnes of its chocolate bars disappeared last week while en route from Italy to Poland. This heist of 413,793 candy bars did not affect the brand's supply chain, and all products are traceable by batch code.
