Tourette's campaigner blames microphone placement for airing slur
John Davidson criticised the BBC for airing a racial slur he shouted involuntarily during Sunday's ceremony. The campaigner questioned why he was seated near a microphone while Michael B Jordan and Delroy Lindo presented. Network officials admitted the error and have deleted the footage from their streaming platform. Davidson has since contacted the film studio to apologise directly to the actors.
