Reform UK makes chaotic start in Welsh Senedd
Reform UK has entered the Welsh Senedd as the official opposition with considerable impact, as several of its new members have already sparked debate with contentious remarks. One MS, Joe Martins, made allegations about refugees and Indian nurses, leading to walkouts and a rebuke from the presiding officer. Nevertheless, the party's chief whip stated that the chamber would need to adjust, given that Reform now occupies over 33% of the available seats.
