First UK Government Flight Departs Muscat Tonight
The first UK government-chartered flight to repatriate Britons from the Middle East is scheduled to depart Muscat, Oman, tonight, March 4. The flight is scheduled to depart at 7pm GMT, giving precedence to vulnerable British citizens attempting to flee the conflict. Authorities have advised registered citizens to avoid going to Muscat International Airport unless they have been contacted regarding a confirmed seat. Roughly 130,000 British citizens have notified authorities of their location in the Middle East given the current circumstances.
