Trump suggests US may seize Iran's key oil hub, Kharg Island
Donald Trump has once more issued a threat to seize Kharg Island, a location responsible for approximately 90 percent of Iran's crude oil exports. The US President reiterated the threat on Wednesday, stating that an interim ceasefire with Iran had concluded during a NATO summit in Turkiye. Kharg Island is crucial to Iran’s economy and sits about 55km off its coast in Bushehr province.
