Capgemini to sell US arm over controversial $365 million ICE contract
French tech titan Capgemini initiates the immediate sale of its US subsidiary, Capgemini Government Solutions, following intense scrutiny over a $365 million framework agreement with ICE. The unit provided "skip tracing" data to locate individuals for deportation, sparking outrage amid recent fatal shootings by immigration agents. Management cited an inability to control the subsidiary's classified operations, which represent 0.4 percent of 2025 global revenue. The division currently holds 13 active contracts with the agency.
