New record 35.1C as heatwave ending soon
The UK's unprecedented heatwave is set to ease for many areas from Wednesday, bringing some relief. Cooler air will move across northern and eastern England, causing some locations to experience a 10-degree drop in temperature. Although Wales and south-western England could still reach 30C, cooler weather is expected to gradually arrive from Friday and into June.
