OpenAI launches ChatGPT Translate to rival Google Translate
OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Translate, a standalone web-based translation service positioned to compete directly with Google Translate. The new tool supports over 50 languages with automatic detection and offers unique AI-powered features including style customization options like business formal, academic or simplified language. Unlike traditional translators, it focuses on context and tone rather than literal conversion.
