£160 million plan submitted for Glasgow Chinatown
Glasgow's long-standing Chinatown district is poised for extensive redevelopment, with the goal of developing a dynamic new area for its inhabitants and guests. A £160 million plan was lodged with the Glasgow City Council by Keltbray Chinatown Developments Ltd on May 19, 2026. Included in the proposals are new residences, shopping areas, entertainment venues, and designated spots for cultural activities at the 4.4-acre New City Road location.
