London Police Form Anti-Terror Jewish Protection Team After Attacks

The Metropolitan Police has launched a 100-officer Community Protection Team to protect London's Jewish communities, combining neighbourhood policing with counter-terrorism capabilities. The move follows a series of arson attacks on synagogues and a terrorist stabbing in Golders Green since late March. The Home Office is backing the team with £18 million in funding. Around 50 people have been arrested for antisemitic hate crimes in four weeks.
