430,000 children now live in poverty despite parents working
Many children across the UK are now growing up in poverty, even when all adults in their household work full-time. New research from the IPPR and Action for Children shows a fundamental shift in the nature of UK poverty. By 2024/25, almost three-quarters of children in poverty will live in working households, a rise from around half.
