Great Britain Olympic Hockey Hero Imran Sherwani Dies at 63 Following Alzheimer's Battle

Imran Sherwani, the legendary hockey player who scored two goals in Great Britain's 3-1 victory over West Germany in the 1988 Seoul Olympics final, has died aged 63. His second goal inspired BBC commentator Barry Davies' famous reaction: 'Where were the Germans? But frankly, who cares!' Diagnosed with young onset Alzheimer's in 2019, the father-of-three earned 94 combined caps for England and Great Britain throughout his career.
