Record heat linked to three teen drownings across UK
Record heat was linked to the drowning deaths of three youths at frequented water locations. Monday saw police confirm the drowning of young individuals, aged 13 to 15, at various sites within West Yorkshire, Warwickshire, and South Yorkshire. Preceding these incidents, a 15-year-old individual had also tragically died by drowning at the Swanholme Lakes location in Lincoln on the previous Sunday.
