Trump calls to cut all US trade with Spain
Donald Trump has instructed Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent to sever all economic connections linking the US and Spain, describing the nation as a "wasted cause" and a "terrible partner" in Nato. He made the comments at a Nato summit in Ankara, Turkey, where he also said he didn't speak to Spain. Spain's Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez's office dismissed the remarks as "business as usual."
