Harry Roberts, who killed three police officers in 1966, died at 89 after a brief illness. Roberts sparked a huge search after the Shepherd's Bush murders. He was jailed for 48 years and released in 2014. Roberts, one of Britain's longest-serving prisoners, lived in Peterborough until his death Saturday.
