Oil jumps $4 after new attacks

Higher fuel costs could follow as oil values climbed sharply and hopes faded for a quick return of energy shipments through a key sea route. On Monday, Israeli forces struck a petrochemical site and other military locations in Iran, after renewed attacks on Lebanon a day earlier. Brent crude added $4.42 to reach $97.15 a barrel, while US crude gained $4.07.
