A man who punched two female police officers at Manchester Airport in July 2024 has been jailed for three and a half years. Mohammed Fahir Amaaz, 21, broke PC Lydia Ward's nose and left PC Ellie Cook traumatised, causing her to give up being a firearms officer. Ward, now a sergeant, has urged Amaaz to show remorse for his actions.
