Teen Charged with Murder After Fatal Attack on 17-Year-Old Girl in Wales
Cameron Cheng, 18, has been charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of a bladed article following the death of Lainie Williams, 17, in Cefn Fforest, Wales. Armed police responded to reports of serious injuries at a property on Wheatley Place Thursday morning, where Williams was pronounced dead. Her 38-year-old mother, Rhian Stephens, was also injured but has since been discharged from hospital. The suspect, from Newbridge, is due to appear at Newport Magistrates' Court Monday.
