NHS dental deserts get 50 new training places
People in 'dental desert' areas might finally get to see an NHS dentist, as the government is adding more training places. They've announced 50 new spots at universities in East Anglia and Portsmouth, which is the first big expansion in 20 years. However, dentists warn this won't fix things without more money and a better payment system for the NHS.
