UK Arranges Charter Flights to Evacuate British Nationals from Jamaica

In response to the widespread damage from Hurricane Melissa, the British government has organized charter flights to help its citizens who are currently in Jamaica. The move is aimed at those unable to secure commercial flights, with the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) prioritising vulnerable travellers such as children and individuals with medical needs. Eligible passengers include British citizens, their immediate family members and Windrush-generation residents. Travellers are asked to register before heading to airports.
