Ukraine and Allies Launch Cease-fire Plan as Russia Tests Advanced Missile
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Kyiv and its allies will draft a cease-fire plan within the next 10 days, following a proposal by Donald Trump. Ukraine thanked the UK and France for additional missiles, drones and fighter jets. The Ukrainian military reported strengthened positions around the key eastern city of Pokrovsk after Russian troops infiltrated nearby. Meanwhile, Vladimir Putin announced a test of a new nuclear-capable cruise missile, prompting Trump to urge Moscow to cease war rather than carry out missile tests.
